FESCO has redirected its FESCO Turkey Black Sea Service (FTBS) to St. Petersburg, as reported by Container News. This change comes after the company's vessel, Yanina, was lost in an incident.

The carrier has consequently stopped serving Novorossiysk as part of this service. The redirection means that the FTBS will now operate from a different port in Russia.

Container News stated that the initial sailing of the redirected service is already in progress. This service connects St. Petersburg with Turkish ports, specifically Ambarli and Izmit (Gebze).

The decision to reroute the service and change port calls was made by FESCO following the aforementioned incident. The new route establishes a direct link between St. Petersburg and key locations in Turkey.
