KfW IPEX-Bank announced it will provide €79.3 million in financing for two new self-unloading bulk carriers. These vessels are intended for the transportation of construction materials.
The bulk carriers are designed to serve both European and international export markets. Each ship will have a maximum cargo capacity of 44,000 tonnes, enhancing logistics capabilities.
A key feature of the new vessels is their dual-fuel engines. This design choice supports lower-carbon operations, aligning with evolving environmental standards in the shipping industry.
The financing from KfW IPEX-Bank underscores investment in modern, more environmentally conscious maritime transport solutions. The vessels are expected to contribute to efficient material delivery.
