Sapphire has completed the acquisition of EDGE, a move that is set to enhance its liquefied natural gas (LNG) operations, Rigzone reported. This strategic acquisition expands Sapphire's existing capabilities within the LNG sector.
The integration of EDGE's assets will add approximately 200,000 gallons of daily LNG liquefaction capacity to Sapphire's portfolio, according to Rigzone. This increase is facilitated by EDGE's modular equipment.
Rigzone further noted that the acquired modular equipment is currently operational. It serves clients located in the Southern U.S., indicating an immediate contribution to Sapphire's service offerings.
This expansion through acquisition underscores Sapphire's commitment to growing its presence in the LNG market. The added capacity is expected to strengthen its position in providing LNG solutions.
