Emarat Maritime, based in Dubai, has reportedly expanded its fleet by ordering six additional tanker newbuildings. These vessels are 74,000 dwt LR1 product carriers, which will be constructed in China, according to Splash 247.

The company's internal fleet register now indicates these six new LR1 newbuildings. The first two of these vessels are anticipated to be delivered in 2029, as reported by Splash 247.

The remaining four LR1 product carriers are scheduled for delivery in 2030. This expansion signifies a notable increase in Emarat Maritime's capacity for transporting refined petroleum products.

This order contributes to the rapidly growing fleet of Emarat Maritime, enhancing its capabilities within the maritime logistics and product tanker sectors, Splash 247 noted.
