Alkavex, Alkagesta's steel trading division, attended three concurrent industry exhibitions in Shanghai, China, from September 21 to 24, 2026. These events, Metallurgy China, Wire China, and Tube China 2026, were part of the 2nd China International Steel Week, a significant gathering for the global steel and metals industry.
Nijat Osmanlı, Deputy CEO, and Bayram Bayramli, China Business Developer, represented Alkavex at the events. They engaged with various participants, including steel producers, equipment manufacturers, traders, and logistics providers, over the four-day program.
Metallurgy China 2026, in its 24th edition, featured over 1,000 enterprises across a 20,000 square meter exhibition area. The event focused on the steel industry's shift towards higher-end, intelligent, and green development, showcasing new technologies, processes, and business models.
Wire China 2026 and Tube China 2026, both in their 12th editions, were held concurrently. These events are considered Asia's most influential trade fairs in their respective sectors, attracting more than 50,000 professional buyers globally.
The 2026 editions of Wire China and Tube China highlighted green and low-carbon production, digitalization, intelligent technologies, and the application of lightweight materials. They brought together leading domestic and international brands in the wire, cable, tube, and pipe industries.
For Alkavex, participating in all three exhibitions offered direct access to the latest developments in the global steel and metals industry. It also provided an opportunity to connect with key producers, traders, and technology providers from both Chinese and international markets.
